Walcha Central School, Walcha, NSW

Walcha Central School is a rural school situated 75 km from Armidale and 100 km from Tamworth. It is a K-12 school with 400 students. The school is proud of its many academic, cultural and sporting achievements, which demonstrate that students learn irrespective of where they live and work, and that achievement comes from students, parents, teachers and the community working together.

Students at Walcha Central School are nurtured and valued from Kindergarten to Year 12. We favour a rigorous approach to reading, writing and mathematics and encourage our students to embark on extra-curricular activities such as art, music, sport and excursions, leading to well-adjusted and responsible citizens of the future.

Complementary Programs implemented by Walcha Central School.
