The MindMatters evaluations identified leadership as a key factor in school success when addressing mental health and wellbeing.

This Focus Module makes specific links with the Principals Australia L5 Leadership Framework. It considers the importance of the mental health and wellbeing of school leaders and explores the relationships between health promotion, prevention, early intervention, student learning outcomes and leadership. School leaders will discuss how their role and actions can influence the effective use of the nine action areas of the MindMatters Implementation Model. The methods used for sharing experiences and measuring and communicating success will be explored.
