Activity - Stop The Thinking (Only For The Moment)

Often we can find our thoughts racing at the end of the day or while still at school - at times, this can be a real creative buzz if we can get some of these ideas and questions down on a piece of paper. Sometimes, though, thoughts can interfere with what we are attempting to do or trouble us because of the 'noise' factor. If your thoughts are interfering, write them down.
 

Then say to yourself 'that's just thinking' when the thought or worry appears again. Be firm and say the same phrase to yourself when it recurs. Later, after completing your task and taking a short break, take up your list, prioritise, break the top priority into steps and commence each action you listed.
