Activity - Visualising

Aim
Use a positive experience and think about transferring those learnings and skills to another situation

Materials
None

Note
Consider if this activity is culturally appropriate for you.

Process
Think about the most successful area of your life and work.
Why is it so successful? Think about the factors that make it successful.
Carefully visualise a scene - place it in the immediate foreground, in the palm of your left hand.
Carefully visualise the area you want to work better in - in the palm of your right hand.
Bring your hands together. Try clasping them together and thinking of the strengths from one transferring to the other.
Alternatively, visualise yourself succeeding in the new role.
