MindMatters professional development now constitutes approved hours for TRB requirements.

Welcome

The MindMatters resource and professional development is available to all secondary schools across the Territory who are keen to improve the mental health and wellbeing of their school communities. We are happy to support schools from all sectors of education whether they are located in urban, rural or remote areas. 

The Northern Territory is serviced by two Project Officers, Karina Stevenson (Top End) and (new officer to be appointed) (Central Australia) .

 

A photo of Karina StevensonKarina Stevenson has many years of experience working with young people experiencing mental health disorders, as well as providing training in mental health promotion, early intervention and suicide intervention skills. Karina has been employed with MindMatters since 2008 and has enjoyed working alongside Territory schools during this time.
