Olivia Fisher is the new Queensland State Project Officer. Olivia is an Occupational Therapist with a background in acute mental health care and mental health promotion. She coordinated the Resiliency in Bayside Schools Project, and has worked as Queensland Project Officer for the KidsMatter Primary project. Olivia thoroughly enjoys working with schools to promote resilience and wellbeing for all staff and students.

MindMatters Queensland
As well as the MindMatters professional development workshops, the State Project Officer will work with schools to:
- provide in-school support for schools undertaking Level Two Planning Workshops
- facilitate whole school staff professional development about MindMatters approaches to promotion, prevention and early intervention around mental health and wellbeing
- embed MindMatters within the policies and recommended structures of all three Queensland education sectors
- provide examples of MindMatters and Education Policy Links such as the Queensland College of Teachers, Professional Standards for Teachers and the Embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Perspectives.
- work with Indigenous communities to develop MindMatters across the school and community
- assist young people and adults to further develop the Youth Empowerment Process
- work with school leadership using Staff Matters and the Principals Australia resource, Learn:Lead:Succeed, which supports the building of leadership in Australian schools.
