State Reference Group

The State Reference Group for MindMatters and KidsMatter initiatives aim to promote mental health and wellbeing in WA school communities and to improve outcomes in social and emotional learning for school students. MindMatters State Project Officers are supported by the State Reference Group comprised of representatives from all education sectors, health and non government organisations.

This group meets once, every school term, to identify new issues and trends in curriculum, disseminate information, provide advice, share current research and evidence-based practice, identify gaps in service provisions (and offer possible solutions) and promote the MindMatters and KidsMatter project to their networks and organisations.

Membership

Members of the Western Australian MindMatters/KidsMatter Reference Group  include representatives from:

Guests and school representatives are also invited on a regular basis to share information relevant to mental health and wellbeing for schools in WA.
