MindMatters links with education policy and initiatives
MindMatters resources have been mapped to the Essential Learning Achievements (ELAs) for Early and Later Adolescence Bands of Development, for both the Key Learning Areas and Interdisciplinary Essential Learning Achievements of the ACT curriculum framework, Every chance to learn.
In the following matrix the MindMatters curriculum resources have been broadly mapped against the ACT curriculum framework, Every chance to learn. As MindMatters is a secondary school initiative, the resources have been mapped across the Early and Later Adolescence Bands of Development.
Please remember when using MindMatters activities it is important to consider the readiness of the staff member to deliver the content as well as the students/ staff participating. Preparation of participants around the themes/ topics and creating a safe supportive environment with appropriate debriefing mechanisms is recommended.
