Recognition as a MindMatters School

The MindMatters Recognition process is designed to acknowledge schools and school leaders who are working in focused and strategic ways to improve student mental health and learning outcomes.

Acknowledging the efforts that schools are making to improve the overall wellbeing and learning outcomes of their students, staff and school community has been in place since 2010.

The four criteria areas for application for Recognition are:

  1. MindMatters concepts and resources are used as a key organising framework.
  2. Extended leadership for mental health and wellbeing
  3. Data and evidence reflects improvements in student mental health and learning outcomes
  4. Improvements in:

- Internal and external partnerships and services

- Curriculum teaching and learning

- School ethos and environment

Further information can be found in MindMatters Recognition Information for Applicants.
