Online surveys

To register to access the MindMatters interactive surveys email Robyn.Hearl@pa.edu.au and download the user guide to assist the process.

Schools or sites may access the interactive online surveys developed by MindMatters and ACER to provide a process for managing data. The surveys are:

  • Student survey-short
  • Student survey- long
  • Staff survey - short
  • Staff survey - long
  • Parent and family

The type of survey selected will be determined by the data team to best meet the needs of the site.  A process for implementation, including a timeline should be communicated including:

  • Informing staff, students, parents/community of the purpose of the survey
  • Informing staff, students, parents/community of the survey participation and completion dates
  • Informing staff, students, parents/community of dissemination of results and a planned action.

MindMatters recommends using the long version of each survey to create initial baseline data. Although your site may only focus on one aspect for development, having data that creates a more complete picture can be useful for future initiatives.

For more information on data collection, analysis and interpretation see Whole School Matters section 3.4 or attend a Measuring our Progress  focus module in your state or territory.
