Working proactively with school refusal and disengaged students: Prevention strategies and addressing support for disengaged students - MindMatters Implementation Support - South Western Sydney - NSW

This MindMatters support meeting will showcase how a community can support a disengaged student to transition back into their school. Utilising the MindMatters framework, this meeting will explore how to:

  • Reengage and support disengaged and school refusals back into the school community,
  • Establish structures that identify early detection of Mental health difficulties, to prevent future disengagement,
  • Develop effective partnerships to support students transition back into their school community (best practice for case management process).

There will be guest speaker presentations from services that work specifically with school refusals and disengaged students. We will also provide networking opportunities to connect with services and local schools.

Light refreshments will be provided.
